The pre-registration of successful candidates for the early decision admission, concluded on December 16, has resulted in a total of 336 out of 350 enrollments at a rate of 96%. In particular, 106 graduates from science high schools, foreign language high schools and other prominent private schools have registered, which accounts for 30.3% of the total.

It was a resounding success that 2,490 excellent candidates applied for the early decision last September, showing that the competitive rate was 7.1 to 1 on average. However, it was quite questionable that how many outstanding students would finally register at UNIST.

In the wake of the high rate in enrollment, UNIST has excellent students who are comparable to those at KAIST and POSTECH, which will lead UNIST to a world-leading institute in Science and Technology along with them.
