UNIST Signs Agreement for Cooperation with KISTI

UNIST and KISTI which is the specialized institute of information infrastructure leading Korea's  science and technology knowledge have reached an agreement  for an advancing national supercomputing application researches by mutual cooperation.

UNIST President Moo-Je Cho signed a memorandum of understanding with Seo-Young Park, President of KISTI at UNIST on Tuesday Dec. 1, 2009.


Under the agreement, the two organizations will conduct joint research concerning supercomputing application technology. KISTI which has the highest research capabilities in supercomputing system will provide the information and technology , UNIST will offer its elite research manpower as well.


President Moo Je-Cho said : "We hope this agreement to contribute to the development of leading-edge application technologies and nurturance of specialized manpower in supercomputing research field."
